DUAL FUEL HYBRID SYSTEMS (Electric Heat Pump with Gas Furnace Backup)

REBATES/TAX CREDITS

  • KCPL Cool Homes offers an instant rebate up to $850 if your existing equipment qualifies for an early retirement.  Program runs until 06/15/13 or until all program funding has been expended
  • Independence Power & Light and Kansas City Board of Public Utilities both offer a rebate program for the purchase of high-efficient air conditioners and heat pumps. Amounts vary per tonnage of the unit.  No expiration dates have been announced yet
