Planning for Summer?

Are you ready for summer?  I certainly am, the warms days in March and April have really spoiled me.  I have already planted my flower gardens, even though it’s not officially “safe” to do so until after May 15th.  I also have a tomato plant that is loaded and several kale plants that are so pretty.  While the yard and garden have been my top priority, there are many more items on my checklist:

  • Sunglasses
  • Bathing suit, and a body that looks good in it
  • Sunscreen
  • Load up the Kindle
  • Tennis shoes
  • Take dogs for daily walks

I am also thinking that I need to get my own air conditioner and cooling system prepared to keep me comfortable this summer, and have scheduled an appointment with our service department.  You should also be getting yours ready to go.

Back then the major conservation program was Dad yelling “WHO THE #!*+&$ IS LEAVING THE LIGHTS ON!!” Today we have computers, video games, cell phone chargers, etc….. It seems like everything in our home uses electricity.
