Team Member Spotlight - Jacob Gillihan

Jacob Gillihan works in our residential installation department. If his face or last name sounds familiar to you it’s because his father Brian, also works with us. If fact, it was Brian that suggested we hire him on a part time basis to give the installation department and extra hand.

Jacob started with us in 2008. He has been working on his Associate of Applied Science Degree at JCCC. With only 4 more credits to go to receive the Commercial HVAC Technician Certification, he has rapidly improved his knowledge and expertise in this industry. Jacob is a whiz kid when it comes to making sheet metal fittings. It apparently runs in the family! While he is the youngest team member at Santa Fe, his work ethic is one of someone much older. The biggest downfall to his youth is, that anytime we need some muscle for heavy lifting, we hunt him down for the project. Sorry Jacob, you’re young and strong, we may take a little advantage…..

We have enjoyed watching Jacob improve his craft over the last 3 ½ years, and appreciate his contribution to an efficient and talented installation team!
